I have decided to break the silence for the first time. It has really pissed me off today about our discussion. The contributors getting rowdy, the 'leaders' getting confused, etc. This really has to stop. To the contributors, suggestions are good, but are they sustainable? Ask yourself that. To the 'leaders', your job is to do facilitation, and not at certain points in time, reject ideas based by your thinking.
LeadershipLeadership is not about who's getting the power or not, or who's making the decision. Leadership is about being a servant. Serve and you will be rewarded. Or at least something like that. Being a leader DOES not mean you have to lead all the time, it means that you allow the best man to lead the job. You are merely a facilitator, a jack-of-all-trades (janes if any says im sexcist xD). Have we been servants or 'leaders' actually?
Note that I am not criticising those who were leading the discussion today. I am deeply saddened by what people think they are. Being confident and proud is just a thin line of seperation. At many times, how many of us actually ever bothered to even think before we speak? How many of us cared for the implications? Are you one of those?
